Sia teaches out of her at- home garage-studio in a lovely location in the Hazel Dell area of Vancouver, WA bordering a cornfield with a basketball hoop, apple tree, treehouse, and a home-made Hazelnut Café in a Hazelnut tree. So plenty of space for other siblings to muck around / get energy out during / after class. Feel free to set up a meeting time if you’d like to scope it out first! Address will be sent out upon registration.
A little bit about your teacher: Outgoing, social and friendly, Sia has always been a natural teacher. Always organizing little plays and choirs, she started off her path as teacher by teaching beginner piano lessons and community youth pottery classes. She went on to homeschool her own children in their younger years building off of  Waldorf, Charlotte Mason and Montessori philosophies. While working as a potter she spent time working with fellow artists, helping to run a Ceramics Studio called Touchstone in the Allegheny Mountains in PA where classes were held Spring through Fall. Here in Vancouver, WA her classes are designed to be  interactive, fun and memorable.
